Kim Delaney was an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is for her role as detective Diane Russell, in the ABC series NYPD Blue. For this she was awarded the Emmy Award. She has also starred in dramas such as All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney was the child of an executive in the United Auto Workers who was also an auntie. Delaney has four older brothers. She envisioned becoming a court reporter in the early years of her life, however she began modelling in high school eventually garnering commercials after moving to New York. Delaney was portrayed as a young innocent in 1981's soap opera All My Children. Delaney, a young actress from the 1980s has appeared in several films TV movies and in dramas. Delaney has not lived a satisfying or happy life in her personal. She has also experienced two divorces that failed and fought with alcohol addiction. In 2005, the actress was denied custody over her one son.
